This was not my first bear hunt, my first one was years prior, on my own and I never got a bear.
This time, I was able to hunt from a ground blind that was placed near a bait station. One of several spots that was available for me to hunt from.
It was quite the experience! I highly recommend F5 Outdoors. They had several bait stations that were active with bear hitting them. I was able to choose where I wanted to go and if I wanted to be on the ground or in a tree stand. It took less than 3 hours and the bear was on the ground. The guides did a great job and know what they are doing and were there to help in the end!

2025 Bear Hunting Season
Bear hunting was something I have always wanted to do. After applying for 3 years, I finally got that opportunity in September of 2024, and boy was it a blast. After I drew my tag, I didn’t have a very good idea of where to start, so I reached out to F5 Outdoors to help me along this journey. With their extensive knowledge of the Bemidji area Brad and Ashley were able to set my son and I up on a beautiful black bear creating a memory my son and I will cherish forever. Brad and Ashley worked tirelessly scouting the area, documenting bear movement and setting my baits for me in pristine locations. I can’t thank them both enough for this amazing experience.

2024 Bear Hunting Season
Being 70+ years old one may hesitate to think you are too old to bear hunt. That isn't at all true. Knowing that F5 Outdoors has the skills to locate the right spot and bait ahead of time and continue baiting through the hunt made my experience amazing! Yes, I got a bear. It took some extra tracking to find it, but the guides knew exactly what to do. Thanks much F5 Outdoors! I will definitely hunt again with them.
